(Purpose and Role of NPCSCB)

Full form of NPCSCB: National Program for Civil Services Capacity Building (NPCSCB)-The mission is functional

The main objective of the scheme is to establish a robust digital ecosystem to transform the capacity building approach of the Indian Civil Services.

Budget of Ministry and NPCSCB

The NPCSCB is administered by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions under which the people working in the civil services are uplifted. This program started in 2020. It prescribes capacity building programs for civil servants.

Under the NPCSCB, more than 46 lakh central employees will benefit from this scheme for which the Government of India has passed a budget of over Rs 510 crore. This program is open to all civil servants of all Ministries, Departments, Agencies and Organizations of the Central Government Contractual employees are also covered under this.
