Sushant’s father filed an abetment to suicide case against Rhea, leading to a lookout notice issued by the CBI. Hindered by these legal constraints, Rhea has approached the Bombay High Court to seek permission for international travel.

Details: Rhea Chakraborty, currently focused on her well-being, filed a plea with the Bombay High Court to halt the lookout notice imposed by the CBI. The actress, grappling with the restrictions on her travel due to the ongoing legal proceedings, aims to broaden the scope of her work that may require international travel. Despite the earlier approval granted by a special NDPC court for her to go abroad after securing bail in a drug-related case, the CBI’s FIR has prevented her from leaving the country for the past three years.

In a recent development, Rhea’s lawyer, Abhinav Chandrachud, informed a division bench, headed by Justice Gadkari, that there has been no progress in the case from the CBI’s side. No new summonses have been issued against Rhea Chakraborty, and the actress, seeking relief from the prolonged lookout notice, has applied to the Bombay High Court. The upcoming hearing for this case is scheduled for December 20.
