The scheme aims to develop skills of 10 lakh youth in organized sectors across the entire textile value chain except spinning and weaving. With a budget of Rs 13000 crore, the Samarth project includes advanced features like training of trainers, Aadhaar-enabled biometric attendance, CCTV recording of training programmes, dedicated call center with helpline number, online monitoring of training process.
