Hero-Bajaj going to launch a new electric bike, it Will run 150 km without petrol

Pubnews: Hero-Bajaj going to launch a new electric bike. Hop Electric, one of India’s leading electric motorbike startups, has launched its Oxo e-bike. The price of the motorcycle starts from Rs 1.56 lakh to Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom). It was showcased at the E-Motor Exhibition in Hyderabad organized by the Telangana State Government. The Hop Oxo bike can currently be purchased from the company’s ten showrooms in Hyderabad. Will be available in other cities later.

Hop Oxo Color, Battery, and Range

The new Hop Oxo is available in three color options – Twilight Grey, Candy Red, Magnetic Blue, Electric Yellow, and True Black. According to the company, the bike can be purchased with Pro Package features subject to special conditions. It has a 3.75 kWh lithium-ion battery. Which will give the ability to pick up the range from 135 to 150 km.

The Oxo will run on a BLDC hub motor. From which 8.2 BEHP of power will be generated. The maximum speed of the e-motorcycle is 90 km per hour. 0-40/hr takes 4 seconds. The 850-watt charger will charge the battery from 0-80 percent in 4 hours. It features four riding modes – Eco, Power, Sport, and Reverse.

Hop Oxo Features and Hardware

Hop Oxo’s feature list includes a 5-inch smart LCD display, 4G LTE CAT4, GNSS with AGPS, and BLE 5.0 connected features. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and hydraulic spring-loaded rear shock absorbers. With a load capacity of 250 kg, the bike is offered disc brakes with regenerative braking and a combi brake system.
