1. Visit the official UIDAI website at https://uidai.gov.in/.
2. Click on the “Update Your Aadhaar” link.
3. Select the “Update Your Address Online” option.
4. Enter your Aadhaar number and the security code, then click on the “Send OTP” button.
5. Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number and click on the “Login” button.
6. Select the “Update Demographics Data” option.
7. Upload a scanned copy of your new photograph and submit the form.
8. You will receive an acknowledgment slip with an Update Request Number (URN). You can use this number to check the status of your update request.

Note that you will need to pay a fee of Rs. 50 for the photo update, which can be paid online through net banking, debit/credit card, or UPI. You will also need to ensure that the photograph meets UIDAI’s specifications, which include a clear image of the face with no shadows or reflections and a white background.

1. Visit an Aadhaar Enrollment Center: If you are unable to update your Aadhaar card online, you can visit the nearest Aadhaar Enrollment Center. You can locate the nearest center by visiting the UIDAI website or by calling the UIDAI toll-free number.
2. Fill out the Aadhaar Update Form: You will need to fill out an Aadhaar update form at the Enrollment Center. This form is available free of cost at the center or can be downloaded from the UIDAI website.
3. Submit your documents: Along with the Aadhaar update form, you will need to submit your documents for verification. You will need to submit a self-attested copy of your Aadhaar card, a copy of your updated photo, and a valid ID proof such as a passport, driving license, or voter ID.
4. Biometric Authentication: After you submit the form and the required documents, the Enrollment Center executive will take your biometric data, including your fingerprints and iris scan.
5. Acknowledgment slip: After your biometric data is collected, the Enrollment Center executive will provide you with an acknowledgment slip that contains an Update Request Number (URN). You can use this URN to track the status of your Aadhaar card update.
6. Wait for approval: After you submit your application, the UIDAI will verify the information and update your Aadhaar card if the request is approved. This process may take up to 90 days.
7. Check the status of your Aadhaar card update: You can check the status of your Aadhaar card update by visiting the UIDAI website and entering your Aadhaar number and the URN provided in the acknowledgment slip. You can also check the status by calling the UIDAI toll-free number.

7. Upload a scanned copy of your new photograph: Upload a scanned copy of your new photograph by clicking on the “Browse” button and selecting the file from your computer. Make sure the photograph meets UIDAI’s specifications, which include a clear image of the face with no shadows or reflections and a white background.
8. Preview and submit the form: After uploading the photograph, preview the form to make sure all the information is correct. Then, click on the “Submit” button.
9. Pay the fee: You will be redirected to a payment gateway to pay the fee of Rs. 50 for the photo update. You can pay the fee using net banking, debit/credit card, or UPI.
10. Receive an acknowledgment slip: After the payment is processed, you will receive an acknowledgment slip with an Update Request Number (URN). Note down this URN as it will be required to check the status of your update request.
