The evaluation of answer sheets for the board examinations has commenced at the designated regional centers established by the Jharkhand Academic Council. A total of 66 centers were set up in 19 districts of Jharkhand for the review of answer copies. Among these centers, 35 were designated for the evaluation of matriculation copies, while 31 were assigned for the evaluation of intermediate copies. Each examiner is responsible for assessing 70 copies per day and has been provided with appropriate guidelines.

The superintendent at each center ensures the implementation of the rules and regulations established by the JAC. Only teachers who are not blacklisted or retired are permitted to participate in the evaluation process. It is mandatory for teachers to assess the copies assigned to them based on the subject codes provided by the Jharkhand Academic Council, and the superintendent oversees compliance with this requirement.

In the meantime, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has announced that the state will reward the top performers in the JAC 2023 exam with laptops, cell phones, and a cash prize of Rs 3 lakh.
