Pubnews: Tata Motors hikes the prices of popular cars at once to target the middle class. Tata Motors, like other carmakers in India, is launching new engine models in preparation for the upcoming emission norms set to come into force in April 2023. As a result, the company has hiked the prices of several of its vehicles, including the Safari and Harrier, by 25,000 by Rs. The price hike has also affected some of the company’s more affordable vehicles, such as micro SUVs, sedans, and hatchbacks.
Tata Altroz
The Tata Altroz is now available with Idle Start-Stop technology across all petrol and diesel variants, resulting in a price hike of Rs. 10,000 for the petrol version and Rs. 15,000 for the diesel version. The price of the turbo petrol variant has increased by Rs. 5,000 to Rs 15,000
Tata Punch
The Tata Punch is currently only available in Camo Special Edition, as the Kaziranga Edition has been discontinued. The price of the base variant has increased by Rs. 3,000, and other models have gone up by Rs. 10,000

Tata Tiago
A few select variants of the Tata Tiago have been updated with a tire pressure monitoring system. As a result, the price of the petrol version has increased by Rs. 15,000, the CNG model has gone up by Rs. 9,000 to Rs 15,000 The XT and XZ models of the Tiago NRG have also gone up by Rs. 12,000, and Rs. 15,000 respectively.
Tata Tigor
Tata Tigor compact sedan is available in three powertrain options: petrol, CNG, and electric powertrain. The price of each model has increased from Rs. 10,000 to Rs 15,000.
