Honor Magic 6 Teaser: Get a sneak peek at the upcoming Honor Magic 6 smartphone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and innovative AI features, including Magic Capsule and Yoyo virtual assistant. Learn more about the launch timeline.

In an exciting revelation at the Qualcomm Summit, Honor offered a tantalizing glimpse of its upcoming flagship, the Honor Magic 6. The smartphone is set to be powered by the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, and it boasts some impressive AI-driven features. Among the standout capabilities is the Magic Capsule, which introduces eye-tracking interaction, akin to Apple’s Dynamic Island, allowing users to effortlessly access apps and engage with content by simply directing their gaze.
A demo video showcased the technology in action, depicting a user holding the Honor Magic 6 and effortlessly navigating the phone’s interface by looking at the Magic Capsule. A swift change in gaze prompts the smartphone to display the Uber app, showcasing the seamless and intuitive functionality.
The Honor Magic 6 doesn’t stop at Magic Capsule; it also incorporates advanced on-device Artificial Intelligence powered by a Large Language Model (LLM). Users will be introduced to the Yoyo virtual assistant, which leverages Qualcomm’s on-device AI. This intelligent assistant can create short videos based on voice commands, utilizing the photos and footage stored on the device. Similar in concept to Google Bard, Yoyo offers the flexibility to adjust templates, themes, music, and more, ensuring a personalized experience.
While Honor has yet to reveal the exact launch date or all of the device’s specifications, it is expected that the Honor Magic 6 will make its official debut in the first quarter of the upcoming year. Notably, the preceding Honor Magic 5 series was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 in Barcelona, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Stay tuned for more updates on this eagerly anticipated release.
