Jio brings rocket speed 5G service, 1 GB per second speed, claims customers
Pubnews: Almost everyone already knows that Reliance Jio has announced the launch of 5G services in four cities of the country – Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Varanasi – from October 6. The name of this standalone 5G technology of Jio is ‘True 5G’. The country’s leading telecom operator has come up with the Jio 5G Welcome Offer for the residents of the said cities, under which the users get unlimited 5G at a speed of more than 1 Gbps completely free. The company said that it will get data (until a 5G plan is officially launched). Needless to say, this is great news for the company’s customers. But what is really getting the net speed of this storm? Let’s find out.
Delhi residents actually get more than 1 Gbps download speed using Jio’s 5G
Incidentally, Reliance Jio has now announced a beta trial for its 5G services, which means that not everyone will be able to access the company’s 5G network right now. However, those who can enjoy the benefits of this offer will be able to use unlimited 5G data at a speed of more than 1 Gbps, the company claims. Now the question is, is this storm speed service really available for free? Yes, the promise made by Jio to the users is indeed 100% authentic, recently confirmed by residents of Delhi. Because Hall users have reportedly been able to get download speeds of over 1 Gbps in New Delhi’s Lutyens Zone and Chanakyapuri. So, it goes without saying that a new digital revolution has already begun in India.

Jio’s blazing-fast 5G service can be used completely free with a 5G smartphone.
Reliance Jio has informed that initially, the company’s 5G service is available in four cities of the country, but the company is currently working hard to make this service available to people all over the country very soon. In this context, all Jio users residing in these four cities who have 5G handsets will be automatically upgraded to Jio 5G Welcome Offer. In that case, customers don’t have to follow any separate procedure to avail of this offer, just have a 5G smartphone in hand. And for all 5G phones to use Jio True 5G service, the country’s leading telecom operator has already started discussions with handset manufacturers.
If you want to use Jio’s 5G service, you don’t have to get a new SIM
Most notably, users don’t need to get a new SIM to use Jio’s 5G services. Just by having a 5G smartphone in hand, users can enjoy using the company’s ‘rocket’ speed net service through their existing recharge plan. And Jio has also informed that eligible users will be able to use the unlimited Jio 5G network completely free of charge till the official launch of any 5G plan by the company.
