Tipster SnoopyTech has shared some renders of the upcoming Xiaomi 13 series of handsets in the global market on Twitter. These renders reveal that the Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 13 Lite models will come with two curved displays. Whereas, the standard Xiaomi 13 will have a flat display with a flat edge design. The leaked render shows the Xiaomi 13 Lite pill-shaped display notch. It also confirmed that the Xiaomi 13 Lite will be a rebranded version of the Xiaomi CV2 launched last September.

On the other hand, tipster Pars Googlani claims that the Xiaomi 13 phone will be launched with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage configurations. Also, the tipster said that limited edition color options of the Xiaomi 13 may also arrive in international markets.
Possible specifications and features of Xiaomi 13 Lite
The Xiaomi 13 Lite with the codename ‘Ziyi’ was recently spotted on the Google Play Console database and the listing also revealed some of the key specifications of the upcoming Xiaomi phone. According to the listing, the Xiaomi 12 Lite will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and 8GB of RAM. Based on various leaks and certification listings, it is speculated that the Xiaomi 13 Lite model will be a rebranded version of the Xiaomi Civi 2.
The Xiaomi Civi 2, which was launched in the Chinese market last September for women buyers, offers a 6.55-inch AMOLED display panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate, full-HD+ resolution, and 1,000 nits peak brightness. The display houses a dual front camera setup inside a pill-shaped notch and the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ content.

For photography and videography, the Xiaomi Civi 2’s triple-rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor, a 20-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. And for selfies and video calls, there’s a 32-megapixel dual front camera setup inside the pill-shaped notch on the front of the phone. For power backup, the Xiaomi Civi 2 phone has a 4,500mAh battery unit, which supports 67W fast charging.
Also, the Xiaomi Civi 2 has no 3.5mm audio jack, so audio is also routed through the Type-C charging port. For security, this handset has an in-display fingerprint scanner and also offers a stereo speaker setup. Finally, the Civi 2 runs on an Android 12-based MIUI 13 user interface.
