Pubnews: Yamaha YZF-R25 launches 250cc rugged sports bike in new colors. Yamaha has launched the latest version (2023) of their super sports bike YZF-R25 in Japan. The new model gets an updated Dark Blues Purple Metallic color. Also, the Japanese model will be available in two colors – Black Metallic, Deep Purple Blue Metallic. The new generation YZF-R25 is priced at ¥6,90,800. In terms of Indian rupees which amounts to about 4.37 lakh rupees.

Talking about the styling, the 2023 Yamaha YZF-R25 does not see any innovation. As before, the motorbike gets a twin-pod headlight, full-fairing, fairing-mounted rear view mirror, click-on handlebar, site-slung exhaust, and 17-inch alloy wheels on both sides. LED turn indicators are a new addition to its feature list. Other features include LED headlights and taillights and a full-digital instrument cluster.

Talking about the technical specifications, the 2020 YZF-R25 comes with a 249 cc, parallel twin, liquid-cooled engine. It will produce a maximum power of 34.8 bhp at 12,000 rpm and 23 Nm of torque at 10,000 rpm. Mated to the motor is a 6-speed gearbox, which can be upgraded with a quick shifter.

The new Yamaha YZF-R25’s hardware is a diamond-type frame, upside-down front fork, rear mono-shock, and disc brakes on both wheels. Meanwhile, there is no information about the bike launch in India yet. However, chances of YZF-R25 launch in this country are slim. However, Yamaha will launch new versions of Trajatri YZF-R15, MT-15, and FZ-X in the country.
